infrastructural and or human resources. Telemedicine is a quickly
growing field allowing many different populations greater access to
medical care.

Telemedicine can and has been implemented using a variety of communication technologies like: videoconferencing, email, IRC(instant messaging), specialized web sites, electronic medical record systems, and in-home monitoring systems.
